Cassis

Cassis buds are used to make currant and gooseberry fragrances. Cassis is native to the temperate areas of central to northern Europe as well as northern Asia. Cassis fruit is the French name given to the black currant berry. There are approximately 150 shrub species that consists of the two groups currants and gooseberries.
