Wood fragrances are usually warm and opulent, mixing incense-like scents of sandalwood and patchouli with drier notes like cedar. To tone down the warmth of these scents, fragrances will sometimes incorporate some fresh scents such as citrus or floral. Wood fragrances often also include earthy scents like oak-moss and amber as well as leather aromas.
